Updated 16 September 2026: the current local UI uses square portraits, compact one-row Life left/countdown/battery controls, a minimal SVG helmet without a wordmark, and a light-blue sky at 60% opacity with 18/22/26-second cloud loops. Analytics, Activity and Portfolio now share Explore's slate, white serif and frosted-glass treatment. Five existing local agents have new display names and portraits; tha rock is a separate ready-to-create draft. Development/local graduation previews show varied progress without changing financial data. Older dated UI sections below are historical and do not describe the current visual treatment.

The initial handover was a source snapshot, not a complete machine backup. Git history, private wallet/API keys, browser profiles, large model downloads and running databases were not copied. The tracked public EZKL proving and verification keys are included. For the UI revision, the returned website now has its own copied dependencies: no junction to Claude's folder. A new preview on port 5180 serves this returned website; it uses the original local API and chain through a development-only proxy. Claude's source remains unchanged.

## Corrections to inherited reports

1. The old local-only hosting and “no GitHub account” statements are historical. Claude's newer reports describe hosting and GitHub setup, but they require live confirmation.
2. The evening status says testnet funding/deployment is blocked. A tracked deployment report instead records completed testnet transactions. Treat the file as evidence to verify; do not repeat the older blocker as current fact.
3. Three IPFS processes on one host are not three independent hosting providers.
4. A local child-token launch using remote inference is not proof of a fully independent hosted agent.
5. The prior 55% estimate is not a measured completion score. No new percentage is assigned.
6. The earlier one-hour smoke test is historical; its final closure and bill were not checked here.

## Next engineering work

1. Resolve the Windows Cloudflare build constraint before publishing. Second-revision typecheck, lint, all five Node-runtime optimized-build stages and desktop/tablet/mobile checks passed. UI verification does not replace protocol/runtime testing.
2. Read-only verify testnet receipts/bytecode, current Hostinger containers and Akash lease. Locate credentials privately in the original setup; never put them in this tracker.
3. Confirm domain/DNS/TLS, public API health and published website deployment selection.
4. Complete one funded-compute, no-real-trading-money agent cycle on independent hosting and show genuine activity/screens on the website.
5. Verify X connection/posting, implement or explicitly defer FOMO sessions, and settle browser isolation.
6. Reconcile costs and operating runway; test off-host backup restore, second-provider recovery, load and seven-day soak before a production launch.

## Verification limits

The initial handover checks covered source snapshot integrity and HTTP responses. The latest UI revision additionally includes typechecking, linting, a Node-runtime optimized build and the browser checks listed below. No paid leases, contracts, cloud settings, wallet operations or website publications were changed for this revision. HTTP failures are observations from this environment, not independent public monitoring results. Historic protocol tests and hosting claims remain attributed to their original reports.

## Fresh status check — 15 September 2026, 23:09 Berlin

- Local website and API returned HTTP 200. Served deployment configuration confirms local chain 31337, not Robinhood testnet. API reported block 82 and five agents.
- Agent records and activity API contain child-launch records and work payments. These are local test-chain records; active=true indicates activated vault policy, not a confirmed running worker.
- Public website/API and testnet RPC could not be reached from this tool session. No public outage or successful testnet receipt verification is asserted.
- Claude source remains at commit 40c416e with the same uncommitted operator configuration change. No newer source commit was found.
- Current release stage: integrated local prototype with reported cloud/testnet setup, awaiting independent end-to-end hosted validation. No test suites were rerun for this status check.
- Priority: verify hosted service and lease health, connect the published frontend to verified testnet services, demonstrate one complete independent agent cycle, then recovery/load/soak and audit.

## First UI revision — historical, 15 September 2026

This first pass made the returned website a more focused launchpad while keeping the photographic backgrounds, glass cards, serif typography, existing artwork and sound controls. The second revision below supersedes its banner, root-panel placement and life/chart presentation. Preview: **http://localhost:5180/**. This is the returned copy; port 5173 belongs to the earlier local preview.

🟢 Replaces the earlier charcoal/bronze timer treatment: transparent surface within existing glass, matching typography, serif days and thin neutral reserve line. No glowing dot or visible Estimated badge. Countdown behavior is unchanged; inactive/low/empty states remain clear.

🟢 Targeted ESLint and the five-stage Node build passed. Browser confirmed both removed elements are absent, and the 390px mobile layout has no horizontal overflow. Local preview only; no new deployment.

### Earlier timer motion — historical, 16 September 2026

🟢 Warm reserve glow now progresses gold → amber below seven days → rose/red below one day, within the existing glass style. Minute and hour decrements trigger 1.4s and 2.4s red pulses. Eight timing tests, TypeScript, ESLint, Node build and browser milestone/mobile checks passed. No top-left dot or Estimated badge.

### Earlier battery revision — historical, 16 September 2026

🟢 Unified countdown font/size; green-to-red battery replaces the glowing line. Demo agents span about 26d / 16d / 6d / 18h / 2h, with stable smaller units. Cards and profiles agree; Life-left sorting follows the displayed demo. Profile Demo/On-chain switching preserves access to actual reserve life.

🟢 TypeScript, helper checks, lint and Node build passed. Browser verified five different battery values, identical digit fonts, no reserve-line markup and a working real-data switch. Mobile 390px has no horizontal overflow.

🟡 Demo life is explicitly labeled and limited to local development. Actual funds, daily costs and funding transactions are unchanged. No publication in this update.

### Earlier compact battery layout — historical, 16 September 2026

🟢 Timer reduced to 22px digits on cards (24px in profiles). Numbers and battery share a tight row; their vertical centers match exactly in browser checks. Labels and demo/status indicators remain. Pulse overlay follows the battery's new position. Desktop and 390px mobile checked; no overflow. Targeted ESLint and five-stage Node build passed. No accounting or deployment change.

🟢 Supplied helmet logo + favicon; Cinzel TALOS lettering with a reduced-motion-aware looping light sweep. Cards show value followed by MCAP, without the visible HALO quote suffix. Agent pills now use title case and frosted glass. Repeated demo badges removed; Preview/On-chain controls and source details retain data provenance. Graduation bars unchanged.

## Explore and release preparation — 16 September 2026

- 🟢 All is now the first/default Explore tab, combining agents and child coins. Explicit Agents/Coins links remain supported. Browser showed five active fixture cards, six child coins and the separate draft card; Coins filter showed six coins.

### Static pairing explainer — 16 September 2026

- 🟢 Replaced animated ecosystem diagrams with a static GPT-generated pairing illustration, saved at `halo-web/public/art/ecosystem/talos-pairing-v1.png`. Prompt and generation provenance: `public/art/ecosystem/GENERATION.md`.
- 🟢 Expanded the copy to explain FRED/TALOS and DOG/FRED, an illustrative ETH → TALOS → FRED → DOG route, reserve flows, upstream purchases, parent-token valuation and the distinction between fee volume and net buying demand.
- 🟢 TypeScript and all five Node build stages passed; scoped lint has zero errors and one image warning. Browser confirmed the image loads, the banner has no animated elements, and no horizontal overflow at the checked desktop width.
- 🟡 Domain rechecked in Cloudflare: no apex website record yet; publication is still pending the release command in a normal terminal.
